I don't miss a meet. DH likes to go but we tend to limit it. We only do one local meet so we try to carpool/split hotel for a coupe of the meets.
He usually goes to 2-3 regular meets and then states/regionals.
We try to let ds miss as many as possible but he usually ends up at the one local...
DDs gym is on the young side. In the younger groups last season we were often competing amongst ourselves
with 1 or 2 girls from other gyms. Hoping that improves this upcoming season.
Bronze- 5-12
Silver- 6-13
Gold- 7-13
Platinum 10-14

My DD (6) did a backward shoulder roll for xcel bronze this past season. She was dealing with fear issues and wasn't scoring well with her handstand so the coach found an alternate skill for her to compete. Having success doing the roll built her confidence on beam and she is now landing her...

I watched the FL meet earlier and it was good. I hate that Bridget Sloan is out but they have such depth, couple freshman who are amazing!
I recorded the Arkansas/Alabama one for my daughter.

I just want to say I am so excited that college gymnastics is back on tv! I love watching with my girl. I wish the sport was on more often.

I work full time and I sell Origami Owl to help pay for DD's activities. Feel like I am constantly playing for something.
