I will have a couple of opportunities coming up to take my 6yo daughter as a spectator/fan to a big televised gymnastics meet. What is the best strategy for selecting seats? For example, if the arena shows a map of where the floor, beam, bars, etc. will be placed, should I just pick seats close to her favorite event? Is it best to sit close to one event, or is it then more difficult to get a good view of the others? Thanks in advance for any tips and tricks! So far I have only taken her to her home gym’s meets at local high schools, so I’m new to big arena meets!

If on the usual set up (vault run, then floor behind in the middle, bars on right side, beam on left side), I'd go for the middle on either side.
If it's for EF then the closest to the event that's being competed, ie VT/UB, I'd chose the side close to the bars, if beam/FX closer to the beam. Usually from the stands you can have a good view even if you are in the closest side
