    Parents Scholarship Hopes

D1 is the only level where full scholarships are offered. I believe D2 has partial athletic. Gymnasts typically compete at Level 10 for one to four years before college, with many competing at this level during their entire high school career. Recruiting is extremely competitive, top athletes...

Parents What’s something only a gym parent would understand?

I would say paying a small fortune for leotards, meet fees, and travel—and still buying the meet hoodie, lol!

    Gymnasts Many Injuries

Use a compression sock or brace when you practice, especially tumbling. Ankles are sensitive parts, best to protect them. The brace keeps it from being injured further. Also I would ice after practice. Maybe ask your PT for advice too

Parents NJ Gyms with high level USAG programs

North Stars Gymnastics Academy produced lots of elites, NCAA, has lot of level 10s, - they have a homeschool program too. I would avoid MG elite/Gymnastics University in Monmouth. https://www.northstarsgymnastics.com/ - met head coach of North Stars once, seemed super nice.

Parents Level 6 - current gym has no track record of college recruits -NY- not NYC

I think the coach is back, although I think during her ban she was there too, according to some news reports....I heard reports of overtraining, training on injuries, that might be how they have such high level. Please remember, health and safety always comes first. This is what Haney said...
