    7 yr olds - back tuck advice/drills

    I use the candlestick to resi (or stacked 8 in mats in the abscence of a resi), I do drills where they lay flat on the ground with their hands above their heads and then have them pull their knees hard to execute a back-roll without using their hands, backdrops to a backward roll on trampoline...

    I have seen sites that talk about different types of blue leotards, but I do not recognize the emblem on the blue leotard earlier in this post. Can anyone tell me who makes that leo?:confused:

    A whole bunch of sites... There is a site out there girlsgymnasticsleotards.com that has a whole bunch of reviews about the different types of leo makers. They also talk about where to find good inexpensive leos. Good luck :)

    Knee support

    When you talk about the "Patella Tracking" issue, how does the pain present itself? My daughter has been having an issue with pain in her knee when she runs or walks long distances. The PT at the gym looked at her knee, but could not readily identify the issue.

    Hitting foot on bar

    Foot hitting bar What is your daughter's build. While it is very possible that her technique is the challenge, I have also seen it where the child's build is not conducive to this skill (short arms, long legs, etc.)

    Have you practiced falling over the othe side of the bar. Are you afraid of going for the cast and falling over the bar?
