hello
i have been doing gym fro a while now and going to playgym and mini classes since i was tiny and have always had a love for leotards but they are all so expensive!! I normally purchase my items from milano or AAReflex but they are both big brands and have quite a big price! Does anybody ahve any suggestions of other leotard makes that might not have such a designer price??
Thanks :)

have you checked ebay? - i get quite a few name brand leos that are in good as new condition for my dd there at really reasonable prices ($15 or less + shipping)

My dd has a melody leotard and I am very impressed. Their sizing is comparible to a GK. They wash well and they are quality leotards. Actually, I am going to buy a couple more.

i had a look at their website are they any good? you think AL is the same size as GK AL?

Since we're on the topic of leos - anyone have any tips on getting sweat stains out of them? My dd has a beautiful red mystique leo (a replica of shawn johnsons olympic leo). The last time she wore it they must have had a really hard workout because she had perspiration marks down the middle of her back. I washed it in woolite & tumble dryed on low, just like GK told me to - but now the place where the perspiration was is lighter from certain angles (like it affected the silver overlay)... Any tips for fixing it - or do we have to write it off?

I second the Melody Leotards suggestion. I have 2 from them and I actually like them better than my GK leos. The fit is great.

they say they can send them international, i will order one if everyone thinks they are that good

I actually have a blog that reviews all of the different leotards that are out there (Gymnastics Leotards). I have found that there are some companies out there where you can get a leo in the $20 to $25 range. Ebay and Amazon are good if you don't mind items that are gently used. I have 30 or so posts on the site that profile a whole bunch of different companies (and no, I am not paid by any of them). Hope it helps.

I got my leotard from dancewearsolutions.com, they have some really nice ones and some start at less than 15 dollars! They have awesome colors and designs. I know I love mine and it is cheaper than the ones at the gym so I'm happy about that!

I was looking at Melody Leotards-
I really like some of them, and love the price. One thing I don't like is: When some of the leos you can choose the color, I think it should some how show you what it would look like in that color. Anyone else agree?

Of course that'd be great, but it's not that easy to set up technically and you probably need to hire a specialist to do it - the fact that they keep it low key is probably part of the reason they're cheap ...

Just to add my tuppence worth!

I bought some leos and shorts from the melody website and received them with no problems in the UK. Delivery was fast and cheap and the leotards are lovely!
