This reassuring! She will connect it with a spot, but the spot is so minimal, she doesn’t even need it, but more mental. She will also connect it on the trampoline but not sure about a tumble track. We have 2 more in house competitions before the actual season starts in February so I’m hoping...
My 7 yr old daughter is competing Xcel Silver and has had her ROBHS for almost a year and mastered the ROBHSBHSBHS until recently. We have even been working on back tucks. She has a lot of power so her coaches have been working on her slowing down for more control on her tumbling.
For the...
So update, they retested all the girls and my daughter made the Xcel silver team to start in June. It will be the same 9hrs/week we are at now but will add $2700 competition/admin fees on top of our monthly payments.
I’m not too concerned about the cost as much as I am her personal...
That’s what I’m afraid of especially since we have had USGA level coaches that coach levels 8-10 coaching the training group. The coach for the superstars group isn’t of the same caliber of coach. I will just see how it goes and reevaluate if she’s not making progress.

Thanks! They are also moving current level 6 girls to Xcel and some parents aren’t happy. Right now, we have several level 8-10 girls with some leaving for college in the fall to continue gymnastics.
I’m not familiar with gymnastics but I understand the Xcel vs JO track and just want to make...
My 6 yr old daughter has been doing gymnastics for 2 years now and in that time we moved up to hot shots and from there, she was placed on a training team at 5 with a total of 9hrs/week. We’ve been doing that for the last 9 months with the intention to skip level 2 and possible 3. The gym is...
