How many hours a should a Xcel diamond train a week?

I currently train 9 hours a week plus 2 extra hours.
So 11 hours.

We were a low hours program and diamond did 9.

Ours do 15 or 16, but our gym focuses on xcel. We have very few optionals.

At my old gym which has a great Xcel program (centers on DP more tho), all Xcel trained 9 hours but then alot of girls would do privates and also Platinum and up would get an additional 3 hours on Saturdays (when we didn't have meets)

My daughter was Diamond for 3 years.. she did 12 each year (3 hours 4 days a week). She is Sapphire now and trains 14 hours per week.

This may be an unpopular opinion but, at least 16+.

That's wild! My daughter is currently debating L8 vs XD because she wants lower hours (made the middle school cheer squad). She'd be going from 20 hours down to 12 hours and just that alone is enough to make her want to give it a try.
