    Parents Xcel Practice Hours

    My 9 year old did Xcel gold last year and practiced 11 hours a week. It was M/W/F 4/4/3 hours. I think that was perfect amount of time. Now she has a 4th practice that is 4 hours this season as level 6.

    They had judges come in and scored out of 4 last week and I think are having another one for 5 this month.

    Hello, I know everyone is different so there isn't any perfect route, but what age should a gymnast get through each level to make it as a college gymnast? My daughter is 9 and competing in level 6 this year but has all level 7 skills (I think). Thank you in advance.

    Northern Kentucky, near Cincinnati. My daughter did Xcel gold last year and did real well in Chicago at regionals. Hopefully level 6 goes the same.

    The website has a great FAQ area which states one adult will be able to go in with the paid VIP child. We are doing it in Cincinnati this year and are very excited.

    Hello, my 9 year old is very successful level 6 gymnast. We are moving to Nashville area in December. We are going to buy our house near the gym we like the best. Which ones should we check out? I found a post from 2014 but figure a lot could happen in 10 years. Thank you!
