Personally as a gymnast i hate working stalders as i have long legs and dont have a very flexible japhana which makes it easier!
I found a toe on toe off much easier to learn and within one week i was able to perform giant toe on toe off giant backaway!
Good Luck anyway

When I am scared my hands and feet usually get V.sweaty! But generally the only peice that I get scared on is beam. :L

Heyya,
In November 2009 i fractured my growth plate of my right wrist doing a back handspring! (of all the moves....a back handspring!)
I went into plaster cast for 7 weeks and had some physiotherapy afterwards.
Not even 3 weeks later i was back in Accident and Emergency with ANOTHER fractured...
For the awquardness situation...that is why we have an age limit on ours as the older gymnasts tend to feel a little bit uncomfortable in just a leo ;)
What to wear?
At our gym in the UK, it is compulsory to train in a full length leotard at all times.... but if u are above the age of 9/10 i think it is you are aloud to train in velor or lycra shorts. Most of our gymnasts train in "MILANO" or "AAREFLEX" branded shorts as they are very popular...
please help me
i am 12 years old and a gymnast in the uk ( i am turning 13 soon) and have been prepping my double tucks on floor since the summer! i fell on my neck when one went wrong and my coach wont let me work them anymore!! please help me
do you have any ideas on how i can work them...
twisting
hey
if a gymnast is having trouble with their spacial awareness then i wouldnt worry to much about it! From a gymnasts point of view i think that twisting is just a thing that you have to get used too.
maybe try some trampoline preps to help as you get more time in the air!
Good Luck =]
