June?! My season ends in march, I can’t imagine competing for half the year. Do they work upgrades during competition season?
We had three meets in a row each weekend, so only one or two practices in between each. It was definitely not ideal.
It changes often, usually bars is my favorite and vault is my least favorite with floor and beam switching between second and third place. But right now is a little weird, so the order from best to worst currently is floor, beam, bars, vault.
To watch would probably be floor, bars, beam, vault.
I am a junior in high school, so I only have a year left :( so I am learning a ROBT, as it will take me less time to get, and I know that the best I will be able to get in that time is a layout, so I am not worried about development as much and more trying to get the BT and hopefully layout...

Lots and lots of handstand pops, you can work them on lots of different surfaces and if you are comfortable try popping up to a partially unfolded panel mat.
Thank you for your help! I will try to get a video at my next practice.
This is what I have been focusing on; trying to end in a pike basically, but every time I try I just end up more hollow and I can’t cast. Do you have any drills that might help me feel the compression?
I have gotten lots...
Thank you so much! I don’t throw my head out in my kip but it is definitely not forward, so I will try that at my next practice.
My legs finish slightly behind or right below the bar. I know that I need to get them in front I just can’t figure out how without falling off the bar.
I can’t figure out how to cast out of my kip. I have a really nice straight arm kip, but despite my best efforts I can only occasionally get a very small cast out. I am Xcel gold so I need it to be horizontal. What are drills or tips I can do to improve this?
I have been using The Vault for a few months now and I also really love it! I don’t struggle as much with mental health and being hard on myself, but I really love being able to have a place where I can look back at all the ups and downs, because gymnastics is such an important part of my life...
