My daugher is a level 10. During her last pass (forward landing) she was short, took a few squatted steps back and then a backward roll. Did she get deductions for the steps (.3-.4) plus the fall (.5) ? Just trying to gauge what her score would have been had she landed it as she normally does.
Thank you for this. The cost was tough to swallow ($1,250) but hopefully it works. We are a week out and she has stayed off it but still cant straighten her arm. I know younger bodies heal quicker so I am praying that she can slowly start back in another week (Dr wanted her off it for 2 weeks).
She was prepared for it because a few of her friends went through it. I had my husband take her, I don't think I would have been good support for her. She almost threw up from the pain. :(
My daughter has had elbow issues since she had Tommy John surgery in 2018. She fractured it before level 10 regionals this year and while the fracture has healed she now seems to have tendonitis and is getting PRP. Would love to hear the good, the bad and the ugly with your child's PRP experience.
I am from NJ and our gym has a JOGA team and I know that we have had to turn down JO Team girls who had competed level 4 and level 5 from joining the JOGA team because it was full. That being said, if that were the case, that sounds like a better excuse than not having a kip.
I actually found the TOPs social group here but my request to join hasn't been responded to so it would be great if you can send me the crunching numbers. I think I figured it out though.
Skills 60% and possible 92 points so 60/92 = .652 * my daughters score; PA 40% and possible 86 points so...
Hi! I am new. How do I find the TOPs facebook group? My daughter made B team last year and just tested last Friday (one and done). I have her worksheet so would love to see how its looking for her.
