My daughter is doing a press to handstand on the beam... her arms are slightly bent. Is this a deduction? Her coach doesnt seem to concerned about it, but it seems that it would be a deduction. Any information would be helpful.
*** not sure if this matters but she is starting the press...
What is the deduction for not connecting the high bar Kip to the cast? For some reason I was under the impression that it was a pretty big deduction. I don't know why I had it in my mind that stopping counted as a fall.
DD had a meet this weekend and had a good, clean beam routine. When she went to handstand to dismount, she didn't make it up all the way and came back down on the beam. She then re-did the handstand but into the turned position and dismounted. My question is, did she lose all points for that...

My daughter competed in a level 5 meet and dropped her back foot on the full turn just before the BWO towards the end of the floor routine. Do you know what the deduction would have been ?
Thanks :)

Thank you!
My gymie had her 1st optional meet yesterday and I'm still learning(as is she) all the new stuff about when deductions are taken. Here's what happened. She was on bars and low bar looked fine(maybe a couple tenths off for form). She did a toe circle and jumped to high bar. The grip on her right...
