    WAG Level 7/8 floor music.

Dd has fallen in love with the floor music Torn by Lanier. How many of you have heard it in comp? Her coach does not want her to have something super popular. I haven't heard it in comp yet. I usually hear a ton of pirates and resolve. How about you all? She has had skyfall by Adele for two...

Parents Floor music...how to avoid the trendy new piece

So my DD is going Xcel next season and that means floor music. So fun! She's got a couple of favorites in mind but I fear they might be the 'new' trendy piece for the year and worry about multiple gymnasts having the same music at meets. How do you avoid this and what do you do if your DD is...

WAG Floor music question - cutesy/young/older/serious?

I have a friend whose daughter is picking her L6 floor music. Daughter is aiming at "cutesy" (Papa Oom Mow Mow). She is cutesey, she wears pigtails, has a very animated face/expressions. But she's 11, and will use this music for 2 years. Mom likes "Diamonds are a girls best friend". The mom...

    WAG Floor music copy

My DD is a level 7 gymnast. Her team was all given the same floor routine and music by there coach. We asked for a copy of it and he has never outright answered us or given us a copy. We had an issue earlier in the season where his phone "died" and he used his girlfriends phone (which had the...

    WAG Xcel floor music help

I am making a routine for a 13 year old Xcel silver gymnast. She is very tall and fairly graceful but is slow twitch in her tumbling and hasn't been doing gymnastics very long. Her dance is not great so I can't make it too fancy even though she does things very pretty. Any ideas for some music...

    WAG sifting through FLOOR MUSIC......

Going crazy! So far what my daughter has picked was not OK'ed. She picked music from the Squirrel Nut Zippers, some gypsy music, and some weird electro- swing stuff......I love what she picked. Coach feels what she picked is too old for her and she wants something a bit 'younger' I guess. Alice...

My daughter is currently Level 4/Xcel Silver. She has floor music. Trying to be proactive. Next year she will be Level 5 and Xcel. At what USAG Level do they get custom floor. I am trying to budget and decide, do we keep current floor music for another year or 2 or start thinking about...

WAG Floor music - overused? (overwhelmed!!!)

We don't go to many optional meets, so I have no clue what's flooding the meets, or might be good for DD (she will be either XcelGold or L6) She is not one of the kind of girls that I can picture doing 5 straddle leaps in a row (I know that wouldn't happen anyway, but I'm trying to set the stage...

WAG Floor music - where do you get yours?

DD will be moving out of compulsories at the end of this season (either Xcel or L6 next year) and needs floor music. We were told to bring in 3-5 and let coach decide which would work best for each child. She has been SCOURING energym, and of course has found no less than 40 that are her...

WAG Floor music length for 6 vs. 7

Okay, level 6 is 1:15 and level 7 is allowed up to 1:30. Could a gymnast use a 1:15 in level 7 and get everything in she needed to? Basically, if a gymnast competed both 6 and 7, could the same floor music/same cut get used for both seasons?

    WAG Editing floor music

DD is not quite ready for level 7 and will compete her 1st meet this season at 6. Her floor music is now 4 seconds too long. I would like to edit out a small repetitive section in the middle. Can anyone recommmend a good ipad app for this- hopefully free or just a few bucks? Thank you!
