What are your thoughts of WOGA vs Kurt Thomas? Levels 2-3 team. Also let's compare price including training. From what I see looks like WOGA is better for serious gymnast; but KT has high scores and number 1? We are at KT now but I feel like child would progress more elsewhere since they are not...
According to the USAG website and Chalkwarrior’s Twitter, Konnor is now trained by Valeri Liukin at WOGA. Very interesting switch a week before Nationals!
Hello, my DD is talking about moving to WOGA this summer. How is WOGA FRISCO about accepting new gymnast? She is not Olympic Material but she is good, only problem at her gym is not enough coaching the groups are too big. Also how old are WOGA level 9's?
Hi there! I am brand new to this forum and I aplolgize if this has been posted recently, but has anyone from outside TX ever sent their gymnast to WOGA competitive summer camp? If so, can you tell me a little about it? I just registered my 7 year old, level 3 (training 4) for camp in July. We...
this is purely out of curiosity, what's the difference if any between the two other than the fact they're in different locations! Also what's the benefit to them of having separate locations
Hi!! I'm mom to a 9 year old level 6 training level 7 dd:) she is really interested in the WOGA competitive training camp. It's quite a trip across country for us so I'm wondering if anyones been and can give me some input?? Thanks in advance!
Hello, my DD is 8years old she just finished competing level 3 and started on level 4 skills, she also has a few level 5 skills.
We did a tryout at WOGA Plano, she did great she was keeping up with the other girls but we got an email a week and a half later to tell us that she didn't make it to...
Our club is heading to Frisco for the WOGA invitational meet in February.
I am trying to organize some fun things to do while we are there. Team building, sights, museums, landmarks, historical sights.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Hi, does anyone have any experiences of moving from one to the other among the 3 gyms? Can you tell me your 2 cents? We have multiple daughters in the optional level and would love to see them flourish someday. If elite or more is what we aim for, would you recommend one gym over the other and...
This is a completely random question solely because my curiosity is tickled...
A few weeks ago I read an article on a gymnastics site about WOGA being the best gym in the country. The author did not elaborate as to why they believed this, but they seemed to state it as if it were common...
Well another meet over.....started out rocky on floor but the other three events went great! First ever Yurchenko Pike in competition, new bar routine and GREAT beam. One more meet until states WOGA Classic Level 8 Sophia - YouTube
Sorry, I am not sure what thread to post this under. If you need to move it, go ahead.
I just always wonder... What makes WOGA so much better than the other gyms? As far as elite goes, I guess....Has there ever been another gym (not just country, but gym) that has coached 2 AA...
Hello,
Have any of you outside of Texas sent your daughter to the WOGA competitive summer training camp? Just thinking it might be fun but wanted to check with all of you!!
The Woga Classic is one of the meets in our meet schedule. Everyone is encouraged to participate (L4 and up). My DD is only a L6 and may be a L7 by then. I am leaning towards not letting my DD compete but my husband feels it is a good experience and wants her to compete. I do see how much fun...
so i went on WOGA's website, and i thought it was a gym for primarily elite gymnasts, but apparently they have all levels...what im wondering is how elite gymnasts that are at WOGA get privacy during their practice/training...do they have a separate area than the "regular" WOGA kid gymnasts? do...
For those of you who are interested Joscelyn started off a little slow, just sort of feeling things out. Once she got the hang of things she was able to keep up. Her Mom said at the end of camp that she was the best tumbler there, but definitely needs work on the bars and the beam. I say thats...
