Anon 2027s How did calls go!

To be honest I did not expect DD to hear much of anything today, I was in for a surprise when multiple colleges text her, she set up calls with some today and some she scheduled for the next 2-3 days. Mostly they talked about their programs, what they like that she has, goals for their program then asked more personal life questions. They all said text updates, they want to come watch practice and a couple asked her to take a few days the let them know where they were on her list. Is this typically how these calls go? Please share your DDs experiences with these calls, I would love to hear all about others experiences!!

My daughter is a 2028, so we still have a year, but that’s so exciting!! Congrats to her and good luck finding the right fit!

I wasn’t expecting her to get a text at exactly midnight so I went to sleep thinking nothing was going to happen. Then at midnight she showed me she got four text. She responded to all of them and in the morning she got a lot more. Two wanted to do a zoom call asap and one wanted a FaceTime call right after the others. I was shedding a tear because all the schools offered her a scholarship but to hear her dream school offered her one got me emotional. Scheduled home visits and official visits and it’s only day 1
