Any travel with 1/2 spindle is a pretty easy C on pommel given that you have decent circles.
RE yamawaki - a upper arm swing to to HS first (to encourage the heel drive and the push), and you need a front toss to support also
After that timers are Upper arm front toss without catch
And once you get a feel for the push, aggressive kick and tight fold you good to go. There really isn't much to it really just need to have the facility (physical and skill) to just work it and do it
