As in the house (gymnast) has the cards stacked in her favor?
My DD is 9 and I have read CB to help me with my approach in making sure this is her journey. When she is frustrated I let her vent and tell her that gymnastics is her journey and I am already so proud of her that I enjoy watching her no matter how she does, whatever she decides is fine with me. Right CB family?
So this weekend she spent some time with my mom and my mom tells me that DD was crying about how hard gymnastics is and the coaches are tough, you know the content. So my mom tells her that she should address her concerns with me to which my daughter replies,
"But my mom will let me quit if I want to!"
House wins hahaha.
Not planning on changing a thing in my approach but I think its funny that I am the problem because I am too understanding and supportive.
