Ooh that's a good idea. I'm personally very injury prone so honestly it would be very believable. I absolutely love pranks too. Last year April Fools fell during spring break (didn't have practice or school) so all my pranks were over text/online haha.I've fake quit my coaching job before! Also told a coach I had an out of gym injury. I love pranks.
Omg I'd love that! I wish someone would prank me lol but my friends don't often come up with good ones that I don't immediately catch on.I studied abroad in Senegal and learned the hard way that they celebrate the whole month!
Oooh that sounds fun! I don't work Tuesdays but I'd like that. Honestly I'll see if I can pick up a shift just to make it fun for the kids.I also loved coaching younger kids on that day - we'd call it April tricky day and do silly things like stick our tongue out in a beam pose or call skills by an opposite name (tuck vs pike) or do things out of our normal order.
My daughter and her friend ate a powdered donut during their snack break then went to their coach and started licking the powder off of their fingers...he almost passed out thinking it was chalk! It was hilarious!one year the coach convinced our boys team that they had to start doing their floor routine to music. That was a good one. The next year he told the boys that beam was being added as an event for them and they had to learn it. You could turn it on the girls and say that pommel or rings were being added as events.
One year a parent served the coach french toast with "powdered sugar" taht was really chalk. this parent LOVED April fools day so it was expected for him.
