We are moving to Korea this summer. My daughter is a level 8 gymnast and would like to be able to continue to train while we are there. Does anyone have any information on gyms in the area?

@rilyntree have you found a gym? We are also moving there late summer and my daughter is a level 9

We haven’t found anything yet. I have some leads but don’t think we will be able to figure it out until we get there. My daughter is also going to be a level 9. Where in Korea are you going? If we are in the same area it might benefit both girls.

We will be at camp humphreys. So far this is the only lead we have: he has yet to respond to me

We will also be at Camp Humphreys. I have reached out to them and a few other clubs. Most of them said to contact them once we got to Korea.

I know this is an old thread but no one ever responded in the men's forum. Moving to Humphreys in a couple of months. Son is level 9. Exploring the possibility of CYS hiring a coach for high levle gymnasts. Would you be interested? Have you found other gyms or coaches since you arrived?

If you can get CYS to hire a coach that would be great. They don't have the facilities for it at this time though so that would be another obstacle. Gymnastics has become such a disappointment here. We have been working with someone on the Korean Gymnastics Organization and he hasn't been able to help us find some where that will allow my daughter to train. She was at Joonast but we are no longer going there for a number of reasons.

That is disappointing to say the least. I am committed to fixing this because I want my family to stay together. But I have to have a coach. More to follow.
