I'm aware that I posted a question about my back layout before but my question is a little different this time.
On with the question: So my back layouts are more of a whip than a layout. I can't seem to get a high enough set for the layout. My coach said that I'm throwing my shoulders back. Not my head, but my shoulders. I took a video of it (I would post it but my phone didn't come with a USB to transfer it to my computer, I'll try to record it on my iPod or camera...) and I noticed the same thing that my coach described. I basically arch my back right before and during the take-off and hollow out in the middle of the layout. By the way, my feet are behind me in the back handspring but by the time I take off for the layout they end up in front of me.
So, my main problems are that I have my feet in front of me and I throw my shoulders back and arch. I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. I want to start learning fulls and this is really holding me back, any tips or drills?
