On behalf of DD, is a back tuck half a B or still an A? We can't seem to figure it out. Thanks!

If an arabian is a "B", a tuck half should be a "B" as well

Twisting shape never matters except on vault for values. Tuck half is a B.

Since it’s a straightforward backward rotation without extra twists or turns, it's usually considered one of the basic skills
