Thanks so much! I would say that was a very unusual ROBHS for her; she has historically not had an issue with short back handsprings. I think she is focusing so much on the connection to the tuck she is throwing away the handspring a bit. Although I do agree it is a skill she never should stop working and could always use some correction and improvement. Hopefully her coach is continuing to do that. She has incredibly strong legs and often has the issue of using that strength to override technique (squatting low in 2nd BHS instead of using the bounce etc).
So glad to hear you think the tuck is coming along well. I guess not much to be done except wait and keep working strength.
