So my intermediate tumbling class dared me to do a RO BHS layout tonight. I am in my 30's and have not done that since high school. I am proud to say I pulled it off! A pretty nice one at that!

The kids flipped, but the best part is parent reactions;) I have a feeling I won't be able to move a muscle tomorrow though!

That's great! Each year we do a show and there's a coach choreography with tumbling. I still train (not gymnastics tough) but I really can't pull anything other than a RO BHS and a front. I'm too scared and my BHS looks like it's the first time I try that move...

I would have liked to see the parents face... that's always priceless

Congrats on the layout! That is awesome!
I Did a front layout front tuck at an open gym today and a bunch of the compulsory team girls couldn't believe it. They were obviously not happy I had more tumbling skills than them!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
