I'm gold too and I compete my barani, here are my tips:
1. Think of it as a roundoff with no hands, not a twisting skill.
2. Make sure you are getting enough height. When I jump off the beam, I think of it as a needle kick with a big jump up.
3. If you don't feel ready to do it off the high beam just stack mats and do it onto them and as you get more comfortable start taking them away one by one, that's how I learned it.
