Parents Acro Dad

Hi Every I am a dad to a boy 8 who loves acrobatics (acro) like all boys his age he wants be a super hero and acro was the best I could do before he seriously damaged him self and me. Anyway to the point I enrolled him into a club that dose gymnastics and acro mix which I find great only think I found is most kids are here with the moms and don’t get me wrong there lovely but I am the one feeling uncomfortable sitting waiting with the girls I hope to find other dads is my situation as well that we could chat maybe help me with some questions that I would not ask a mom

What country are you in? Boys acro is extremely rare in the US. I’m interested in hearing more about it. I’m the mom of a young male gymnast in the US. We have a good mix of moms and dads who are involved in our gym’s boys’ competitive program, and there isn’t really much of a distinction socially (at least not from my perspective). The boy’s gymnastics community is very tight-knit, and you might feel more at home with other boys’ gymnastics parents. Welcome and good luck!

Hi we are in the UK and Kai getting paired up with a older boy 16 in may so it getting serious for us now there is more girls most definitely but when he paired up there a boy only evening so see how that goes
