Hi, we are traveling to the Brestyan's meet, but the group hotel (Marriot) rate is all booked. We were looking at the Hyatt Place Medford. Is anyone in the area familiar with this hotel, or others in the area that may be more convenient to Tufts? Thanks!

I can't speak about that particular Hyatt Place but my family loves Hyatt Places in general. Nice to have the extra space and love the extras in the lobby. We've stayed in HPs probably half a dozen times with two more booked for this season. Love the chain.

We are going too.....looked at Homewood suites in Medford, the Hyatt place is close.....hoping the schedule comes out soon...sonesta suites can accommodate 6 +

You could also go on the Tufts University website and see if they have any deals with hotels in the area for visitors ( because the meet is at Tufts)...there is a Tufts univ travel portal with a whole listing of them with "Tufts preferred pricing" ...make sure you pick the Medford campus.
