We were recently at a family gathering in N.FL.
The men were completely shocked and awed by 7 y/o Grand-DD's callused hands.
One relative, a distant older male cousin, took her around bragging and showing off her little palms.
You see, many of them are in the lumber business and just could not believe that a little munchkin, especially a girl, would work with her hands as much as they.....
They were actually PROUD of that little girl, and it showed.
The things we don't see because we see them daily, bring awareness and appreciation to others in the most unlikely places.
