Kenzo does that because it meets the element group for side or Arabian skill. Meeting that (lame) element group is worth .5 plus the value of the skill

You cannot tell me that a man who can do a quad twist cannot do a nice, beautiful double Arabian. I won't believe you.

The side pass he did at Cottbus 2015 is a side flip with a full twist. It's either a "C" or "D" ( I forgot) and there's basically no way to have a landing deduction. A double Arabian is a "D" and it's a riskier landing. He does do 25+ twists in that set. I don't blame him too much for taking the easy way on one pass. That being said, I think about 90% of people involved in men's gymnastics would gladly say "goodbye" to that element group.
