I competed Platinum last year and I did a cast handstand. It counts as a "B" valued skill and as long as you are withing 20 degrees from vertical it will count.

Within 10 degrees of vertical

20º of vertical gets B credit in Platinum and Diamond.
In Sapphire (and Dev Optionals L7-L10), 10º is for the "no deduction" range.
