Youngest has been using fabs for a year, they work really well. HOwever they are pricey and they are not very durable, but they are so light she can't feel them.

I have toyed with buying some of the heavier ones that are out there, but then I know they would look awful for meets, plus she would feel them a lot.

My daughter has used the Fabs and really liked them. Unfortunately ours fell apart quite quickly due to repeated washing. I think they lasted 6 weeks. :o

My friend uses those ones because she has really high arches and one collapsed. I tried them for shin splints because I have no arches but I found that plain old tape works the best.

We do not wash them, after the first time!!! They last about three months when she trains 8 hours a week! You can get them on Ebay a bot cheaper!

Ariel: Corky tapes her arches now. Make sure you tape from the outside of your foot so you are pulling up on the arch and not down. She usually goes around a couple or three times.

Bog: Seems like the Fabs last the same washing or not. Corky trains 5 days a week and they last her 6 weeks. I washed them once a week usually. The blue gel thing came off of the wrap.

taximom, you and I should be opening our own sports support for gymnasts store!!! I think we have tried them all!

I buy the fabs by the half dowen these days!! The coach finds them in the weirdest places! One did fly of in her comp this year, FUNNY!

Bog: Have you ever found them in Canada? I found them in a suburb of Detroit and paid a fortune to have shipped overnight. I thought I'd save my time, gas and customs hassles.

If we opened a store I think we would already have a client base here on the CB!

No I get them from ebay, I just searched for fabs and there is one seller that always has them, and has good reputation. The price is horrendous, but they really help. I did find one place in Ontario that sold CHeetahs, but they were so expensive it was cheaper to buy in the USA even with duty!

Add to the list of "things to buy on trip to US"!
