Women Competition makeup?

Is this for artistic gymnastics? With the exception of upper optionals, our athletes aren’t allowed to wear makeup at meets and even the older high school girls usually stop at mascara.

If it helps, we’ve found meets are more often on the cold side when they’re at places like convention centers and big halls rather than hot and sweaty, but we aren’t in a humid area. Do the very minimum you need to do to feel confident. If you’re in an area where makeup is more typical, your experiences teammates have probably worked out a good solution and have tips.

My first competition is in December and I'm starting to get nervous. I'm curious about the kind of makeup I should do and products to use. I need it to stay on for multiple hours in hot and humid conditions and sweat. And I sweat a lot, so this doesn't help.

Are their any specific products or procedures recommended?
What level are you going to be competing?
All I wear is foundation, concealer, a little bit of blush, and mascara.

Was never aware of the USAG rules on makeup, but I assume it's just nothing artistic like way out-there eye looks and stuff. Personally, my makeup routine was moisturizer, concealer if needed, powder to set said concealer if applied, cream blush, powder blush over that (I promise it doesn't look like too much if you do it right. Blush is always the first to wipe off through humidity for me and setting it with a powder blush works like a charm), highlighter (I only did this occasionally), translucent powder all over, mascara, lip stain, and setting spray. I also used to do glittery eye shadow (not colored though. Just sheer sparkles) for states only. I can recommend products if you want me to.

This also might sound like a lot more makeup than it actually is though. It looks like a lot less and doesn't feel cakey with the right products.
