I am getting back into gymnastics as an adult and I think I am going to compete Xcel Silver this year. How do competitions work as an adult? Will my scores be in their own division or with the seniors?

We have some adults in our area and they just compete in the oldest age division. Most are diamonds/sapphires or level 7-8 though so there are more older teens with them.

I highly recommend that you check out NAIGC! It is for adults only, and they have silver. There might be a club near you, or you can compete as an individual!

Last year at one of our USAG XG meets there was an adult competing. She was competing in the oldest age division.

definitely check out NAIGC, its a whole program for adult-only gymnastics and they sanction a decent amount of meets around the US and then nationals in the spring. within that they divide by college club teams and community teams (typically older adults post-college) for scoring. they don't have every level but they do have xcel silver! you can check here to see if there's a team near you https://naigc.org/clubs/
