We are in desperate need of a recommendation for a grip brand that is similar to Ginnasta. My daughter is a Level 9 gymnast and has used Ginnasta grips since level 4, but for the last few years they have been a real challenge to find in stock. I've been successful in the past with checking the website diligently, but currently I've been checking the website daily for the past month+ and I haven't had any luck finding any in stock and her current grips actually already have a tear in them, so it's getting urgent. She is insisting she can't use anything else so I'm trying to find the closest alternative. She wears the narrow grips with double buckles. Does anyone have any recommendations for the closest alternative? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried calling them on the phone?

Our club uses US Glove. There are a lot of similarities in those two brands.

I haven't. There is only an email contact and she explicitly mentions on the website to please not contact her about something being out of stock and that she won't reply to those emails. I might try US Glove. I've been looking at a lot of different brands and they do look pretty similar to Ginnasta. Thank you!

Both of my girls wean US Glove Hot shots leather cuff double buckle. (One is L8 and the other is a Jr in college and above the rec weight, but she only loves these and replaces them about every 6 weeks) They do not need more than a few swings to break them in.

Just to give you some background... Ginnasta was basically a split from US Glove back in the day. This page will tell you exactly what is going on with the company...

Prior to founding Ginnasta USA, Greg was co-owner of Tiger Paws. He was also the pattern designer of Tiger Paw wrist supports as well as some of the best selling grips in the industry. Additionally, he developed production techniques for the manufacturing of these products.

Before making grips and wrist supports, Greg's factory produced sandals, purses, wallets, belts, gift items, home decor items, and clothing, all in leather.

Further down...

Greg is missed! There was no one like him and we hear on a daily basis the positive impact he had on others. He truly "lived large". Sadly, he passed away in 2019 so Portia presses on without her dad, but has kept it a family business as her two grown children and uncle are part of the company.
