Off Topic Excerps from the Nutcracker...the show must go on!!!

Hi all. Some of you know that dd also dances and was in a production of the Nutcracker last month where 2 of the 3 shows got cancelled due to one of the East Coast's biggest snowstorms in history. Well, we just got word that they will be doing two shows (shortened highlighted versions of the actual 2 1/2 hr show) the first weekend in February! Rehearsals start up again this weekend .

Dd loved doing this production and has caught the dancing/performing bug for sure! So, I am glad that she gets the chance to perform again and the other dancers get their chance to dance the parts that they didn't get to. They usually have 3 dancers learning the same part (Clara, Fritz, Snow Queen, Mouse Queen...) that alternate performing on certain shows.

I will keep you posted and try to upload some video if I can.

She must be so excited, nice to get some closure on this for her. I am sure it'll be a blast for her, and you don't need to relax do you???
