Just curious- What equipment brand does you/your gymnast prefer?

DD's favorites
Spieth vault/board
AAI/EVO Bars
Spieth Beam
Spieth Moscow floor (but if it had the AAI carpet that would be great)

Our whole team currently prefers AAI as we really don't compete on much else.

We have gone to a few Spieth meets and I can tell you the feedback we got from the girls those...

• Spieth Beams are rounded so they don't like them. In fact the Spieth rental company by us provides AAI beams now.
• Bars are bouncy but hold chalk better.
• Don't like the Spieth boards for vault.

Now if you want my feedback as a coach... I can give you tons of that... all day long.

My daughter is very vocal about preferring AAI bars/beam. Not sure about Floor brand, but she doesn’t like it when they don’t have a carpet on top.

I don't know the brand we have at our gym (I think AAI?) but I do know I really don't like Spieth beams. Too rounded/slippery. The ones we have at our gym have better grip. I also hate the spieth vault because they're usually quite soft and hard to block on. Bars I don't do enough higher level skills to notice a difference and I don't know the brand at our gym. I don't mind Spieth or AAI floors.
