Women Foot surgery

Guess who gets to have surgery! I've gone to the doctor many times in the last month trying to figure out what was wrong with my foot. And on Monday I went to a specialist and today it was decided that I was going to have surgery. It hasn't been officially scheduled but as of now I should have it Tuesday. I had a long talk with my coach and she said today I was allowed to freak out. I'm not allowed to any more after today, and really I think im ok with it. 3-4 month absolutely no gymnastics. So if I work hard I'll be almost back by the beginning of the season and should be good to go by the end. And if my doctor says Ill be ok to fly by that Saturday I'll get to go to the beach!

Aww. I feel your pain! I might be getting a bone removed from my foot/ankle too, we still are discussing. Sending healing vibes! When you come back it will be like you never left!

Sorry to hear that! I hope all goes well with your surgery! I'm having my first ever surgery at the end of July, I'm pretty scared about it! Fortunately it's not a gymnastics related surgery, I have a lymph node that hasn't worked properly in years so it stays swollen all the time. My doctor just recommend taking it out. The worst part will be the 2 weeks off my hands!
