So in late April I made my first giant which took a really long time for me to learn(over a year). At the end of May I separated my Growth plate in my wrist causing me to take 4weeks off. When I came back I couldn't make a giant for the life of me. My coach and I tried to go back to baby giants and work back up to them but I think I'm switching my grip too late which wont allow me to open my shoulders which is the same thing I struggled with before I made my giants. To make matters worse I have struggles doing switch grips by themselves because as soon as I switch my grip I will let go of the bar. If anybody has any ideas/drills to help open your shoulders on a switch grip that would be soooo helpful.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
