Women Gifts for Senior Athletes

Do graduating athletes from your club get any sort of recognition or gift?

At our gym my coaches will normally get you stuff for the college your going to, and you get a part in the video at the banquet.

Our coach used to take a lot of pictures during the meets and she would have one put on a canvas for them.

Yes, our parents association handles it. The gifts change each year, but are generally personalized with engraving, birth stones, etc. We are also work with the parents of the seniors to create a slide show with videos and pictures over their gymnastics career.

We do a slide show and one gift from owner/HC (his wife chooses) and from the parents association usually a matted & framed photo collage.

My coach put together a video slideshow and a gift for graduating seniors. She did the same for me last year. In previous years we non-graduates had little roll in my coaching putting together the gift other than giving her photos and videos of our graduating teammate(s).

Our booster club buys a photo box from Things Remembered and gets it engraved with their names and dates they were in our gym. Then the girls write good luck notes and we put them inside.

At our gym we have a seniors party in July and each girl receives a big gift from the coaches, and each level is assigned a certain girl to get gifts for, and make scrapbooks and posters to bring to college for. Nothing over the top, but really nice for the seniors.
