My daughter prefers the double buckle, because they stay put, and there isn't constant readjusting, and wearing out velcro.

A single buckle has one buckle... Basically center of the wrist part of the grip.
A double buckle has two buckles... Slight gap in between... More secure, in theory. Can adjust each on a different notch if the wrist is funny sized.

What is the dif between single buckle and double buckle?

Single buckle has one buckle, so these are sometimes "harder" to find the "perfect" size (without drilling holes). Double buckle has two, so those awkwardly in between hole sized wrists are easier to "fit".
