I am in the graduating class of 2027, however, I am NO where near being able to make a college gymnastics team (Unless I somehow get "C" or "D/E" skills on every event in the next 2 years, platinum working diamond, 8/9 for HS, working mostly "B' and "C" skills, some "D" dance elements plus rudi on floor) I am interested in doing college club gymnastics, but not A&T, stunt, or cheer for a college.
Is there a point to make a recruiting instagram, even in the slightest hope I would somehow make D3, or transfer to a team from competing college club?

I think it’s great to do it for fun and track your accomplishments. But you also only have so much time.

If you have 20 minutes in an evening and have a choice between editing a video for Instagram or studying a bit more so you can have a better GPA or SAT and might get into a better college or get more merit aid, definitely choose the latter.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
