We're having a strange week here in northern Virginia with the rare earthquake and now the threat of a hurricane. DD was at the gym when the earthquake hit. I asked if she was scared and she said "No, I was on tramp so I probably bounced even higher!" And now with the possibility of tropical storm weather she commented "Think of how high my flyaway could go in a hurricane!" Oh, to be young and able to focus on the positive in anything. Best of luck to everyone in the storm threat areas.

i've often dreamed about being the eye of a hurricane and it's a blast! i've have "performed" skills in the "eye" that the human eye will never see. lol!

My niece thought the earthquake was sooo cool too and she was gym. These crazy girls! I am petrified of these things. I grew up with blizzards and the occasional tornado if I was down in the city. That's it though! Now there's a hurricane coming? Ohmygosh. I'm locking myself in our apartment. Or moving back to the Rockies. The 12 feet of snowpack we had in June looks good now.

Yes they sure do have a wonderful out look lol. We too are preparing for the worst and praying for the best. Today is Dd last summer practice so at least I don't have to do anything next week except clean!
