Has anyone else heard about this new website for gymnast. My daughter just filled out her profile. One of her friends invited her to the site. Can anyone let me know if they know anyhting about it, what I read about it seems like it would be cool. I just don't know how long it has been around. It is called gymnastspotlight.com. Let me know what you find out. Thanks.

Well considering you have to pay to join I do not see the point when there are great places like the CB and youtube for free. When colleges look for gymnasts they know how to find them and I think anyone encouraging gymnasts and their parents to part with money in order to get a better chance is just taking advantage.$10 USD a month for access to things that are free on the internet is CRAZY!

Save your money and enjoy the CB. I see that the place only has about 10 members so that would make it way less effective than the CB and our 6000+ members for free.

I am of course assuming that you are not here trying to promote this site, if that was the case I would have to ban you for spamming. But I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

WHy do you think the site is cool? IS that because they put a link to USAG on the site,because anyone can do that, USAG do not even have to give their permission.

Banned the OP for spamming, clearly after just joining and making two posts about the same brand new gym board, they are looking to benefit from our free site and it's 6000+ members.

I will leave the thread open for discussion, so you can check out the site and see how much you get here for free, that they would like to charge you for!!!

To be very honest. I Love this site. I am so glad I found it. All of you folks have been so nice to me. And very patient with me and my ignorance towards the sport. My little girl loves this sport and I want to learn as much as i can about it. I dont often post on other peopls threads only because I really dont know what to say. And I dont want to say the wrong thing.
I wouldnt want to go anywhere else, even if they paid me. Like i said you all welcomed me with open arms. From day one i felt like a "member" and not an outsider. Thats rare for any forum when you first join.
I hope to really get to know all of you, and look forward to hearing about your gym babies (of all ages), your experiences as parents, and see things from a coaches point of view is a welcome advantage.
So, thank you to all of you. And I hope to share my little girls accomplishments, her fails, her tears and her victories...big and small.

Hey Deanna, we all began our gym journey somewhere. You are more than welcome to post anything, even if you think it is silly. Because there is always another mom who is 10 steps behind you who can learn from your journey so far!
