Looking for a gym north of Boston that has a strong Xcel program. My daughter (5th grade) currently competes Xcel Gold. She did levels 3-4 in compulsory, and switched to Gold last year since she was scoring 35's at level 4, and only got one 36. She wanted to try Gold rather than repeat level 4, since her current gym does not compete level 5.
She had a very successful season, placed top 3 at all but one meet, and a good amount of 1st places on events. She is looking for a change this year since she isn't meshing well with the coaching style at her current gym.
I think she might want to try for optionals next season, but also wants the option of doing Xcel since she has been juggling gymnastics with a few other sports. Either way, I would want her to be at a gym that has a strong Xcel program, that has solid coaching, and isn't viewed as an after thought. If anyone knows of anything north of Boston that would fit that description, that would be amazing!
