Hi everyone! This is my very first post here, but I've been reading for awhile.

I was brand new to the gymnastics world a few years ago when I enrolled my daughter in her first preschool class - we needed something for her to focus her constant energy on. Little did I know that now, 3 years later, we'd still be there!

She absolutely loves the sport! She is 6 and started on "pre-team" last June. She was just bumped up to Level 3 in the beginning of this month. Our gym does not compete their Level 3s as apparently, they don't feel the skills progress well to Level 4? But that's the story we got and I really have no idea! Their Level 3 girls begin Level 4 skills so that, hopefully, they have a great start to competing Level 4.

The most nerve-wracking part is, if she wants to do Level 4.... she won't automatically be on Level 4, she'll have to try out with all the rec kids! Oy!

Anyway, I also have a little guy who is almost 4 that loves the sport too - did he really have a choice I wonder? He's a natural climber and loves to both watch and "practice" with his big sister. He's still in the tot program and it's a great place for him. He adores his two coaches and has a ton of fun.

Well, thanks for letting me join you all! It's going to be great learning more about this crazy sport!

Lisa
