You probably are not going to get recommendations here for home equipment.

In general you shouldn't be doing skills at home without a coach other than early skills like handstands and cartwheels, even if the beam is quality there isn't padding around it and self taught skills are almost always taught wrong.

We have one of those cheap fold up beams off amazon and it was fine for holding handstands when she was a level 2, just collects dust now.

We have the Brianna beam from Tumbl Trak. It works well for handstands, cartwheels and back walkovers, turns, leaps and jumps. Feels really close to a normal beam. Doesn't wobble. For back handsprings and above, my daughter only uses the laser beam.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
