Our comp Leo plus warmups were in the $300 range, total. We normally keep the Leo for 2yrs, this was the first year of this design (custom GK with rhinestones, long sleeved). Unfortunately I believe we will be switching the warmups this coming season as this is the second season they used this design (my dds first season, so we had to purchase it regardless). So the general idea is new warmup OR Leo every year, not usually both.... And of course the first year you compete you have to buy both regardless of where in "the cycle" the team is...

I would consider $200-$300 a reasonable range for leo + warmups. I just don't know that I could/would do $500 for L2/L3. I guess if that's the norm in your area, it's a bit of a 'boil the frog' thing, but it just seems sort of ridiculous for kids that young. My daughter didn't compete until L4, so I don't know what I would have done if presented with that figure at that point in her career. I may have steered her towards chess or something!! ;)

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
