I asked my lv5 dd what do you like about gymnastics? Her reply: my friends, the pool parties, the sleepovers, the the team fashion show, skills, the metals, coaches.
I was very happy to hear that response... when I see my dd and her teammates having fun at the house i do think to myself this is what it's alll about....kinda funny because as a parent one may think of the competitions, scholarships, Olympic dreams in terms as what do i like about the sport, but for the girls it's the moment and having a shared experience with friends.
