My DD is the youngest in her group. The closest girl is exactly one year older. We came from USAIGC and She was far behind on bars and still is. But my take away is a better gym gives better training which lets her fulfill her dreams. I am sure my DD misses her old friends but she also loves her new ones and has no desire to return. We are 5 months into the new gym. Three old friends at the old gym have retired over the summer, the lesson learned is gymnastics has to be done for yourself, training groups and friends are never static.
