When my dd reaches the competive team level what is need: Physical, shot record ect....?

I think coaches need to have a copy if your insurance card to have in the gym. I think they may even take it to meets (or at least our last gym did). I think you may need to put proof of insurance on the USAG application too. So... health insurance and money. The former is easier to come by in Canada than in the US. ;)

Yes, money and health insurance. Also, our gym makes the gymnasts and parents sign a contract, behavior expectation doc, and a declaration of commitment for the season.

We just have to sign the general waiver and pay! We did have to put insurance info on the USAG form but that is it.

Pay the money and sign the waiver here. No Insurance cards necessary but if I remember right we do have to write down the Ins # on the initial paperwork along with a credit card number.

At Pickle's gym they asked for a copy of our insurance card as well. They also had a relatively extensive form to fill out that aksed if there were any medical problems. Oh, my favorite part of the form is where they ask which hospital you want your chid to be taken to in case of emergencies. That's always delightful to think about.

The money really never ends. In addition to the regular gym fees, there will be a fee for USAG, a fee for uniforms, potentially yearly fees for equipment and lockers, travel fees, coaches fees. You name it, there is a fee for that.

You are not kidding! We joke that around July (when meet fees, usag fee, etc start), you just keep the check book open when you walk through the door, because there is always something due. ;) Good luck!
