I've had multiple injuries over the past two years that I think have really limited me. All of them have been to my lower body (ankle, foot, knee, shins, and now my upper leg) and everytime I try to push through pain I think is insignificant I always end up taking more time off. I've done a ton of physical therapy too and it doesnt seem to be helping. It’s just really frustrating at this point because I really want to get to the higher levels but I keep facing setbacks no matter how hard I work. Any advice on what I can do?

Depending on your age you might be growing and growing limbs are more susceptible to injuries as well as throwing your balance off which can lead to things like sprained ankles etc.

If you are high school aged starting a true strength training program with progressive overload can have a lot of benefits in regards to injury prevention, the higher levels of testosterone in your body can really be converted into muscle quickly.

If you are younger you might not yet have the boost from hormones but there is still benefit to lighter weight or bodyweight training the results just take longer to be apparent.

You will want to consult with your coach and/or strength coach before starting a program.
